Antenna Plastic not flush

I have just purchased a surface go and I noticed that the plastic section housing the antennas is not perfectly flush eith the magnesium housing and is slightly raised around the camera.

Before I return it to store is this normal?

I have attached a picture for comparison against other devices.

I am asking because I had a look at the one in the store and it was sightly worse than mine!

Really? On a Surface Pro you can hardly see the difference between plastic and magnesium
