best buy has pre order

On another forum a gent got a pre order from Bestbuy. He said the manager will try to match any offer the M$ store has.

Went and paid $50 for a gift card to link it to the pre order. All set pick up Saturday morning, and get reward points too.

I can confirm the deal - reserved a Surface Pro 128gb today at my local Best Buy. $50 gift card deposit. Glad I did, it didn't sound like that store was scheduled to receive any units before launch day (Saturday). Apparently preorders trigger delivery to the store if not already scheduled. Whether I'll get mine on Saturday is yet to be seen, but at least I have one reserved!

My local BB in SoCal closes at 9pm. Only time later than that has been on Black Friday.
