Card Reader No Longer Works

I have a surface book 2 that is less than 6 months old. Today the card reader simply stopped working . Yesterday it work, today it does not. I have read several posts on this, and it appears to happen a lot. In most cases all the rebooting does not work.

Is there any solution to this?

I would make sure you have th most current drivers. I have a SB2 and it never happens to mine.

Try removing the device driver and then reboot...
