On REAL need on the S is Adobe Acrobat Pro. So far this is not avail. on the iPAD or ANDROID either.

As far as the iPad is concerned there are a bunch of apps which will do the job. One for instance is PDF Merger for about $/€ 2.

But as we are here at a Windows RT forum - yes, a good PDF manager would be nice.

I believe there is an App Front End for Fine Reader Online service that will merge PDF, I think there is a cost per transaction though.

Yes! You can open PDFs with Word, edit them how you like and then save them as PDFs.
