Dropbox sync causes heavy cpu usage & heat + fan

Hello guys. Was wondering if this was normal for all sp3s. Mine is i7 256gb, and with dropbox sync working, cpu runs between 30%-50% and causes CPU temp to reach as high as 90 C, while the notoriously loud fan kicks in and stays on pretty much the whole time.

Any other dropbox users experience the same during sync? (in particular during 1st setup where its trying to sync 10gb+)

Welcome to the forum!

I use Dropbox heavily and have never experienced this.

BUT, I wouldn't say it's a problem yet. Wait until your Dropbox folder is completely synced, AND your SP3 has had time to index everything, and then if it's still an issue, we can chase some things down.
