External monitors not available on 1511 update

Have seen this in a couple of locations but have not had any fix work yet so I thought I would ask the question here. After the 1511 update, I cannot get external monitors to work, either through the mini-Displayport or the USB displaylink drivers. The computer will show the monitor for a minute in the display settings but then it will go away until unplugged and replugged. Have tried cleaning and reloading the Displaylink drivers and uninstalling the Intel drivers. Still nothing.

Thoughts?
