Firmware Update

Did a System Restore and rolled back to 2 days ago before the firmware update and it works. I've about had it with this device.

if pen will stop working try this 2 fix:
1. Thake out battery and put it back
2. Go to device manager>bluethoot>If it shows 1 line the bluethoot has been disabled and must be reenabled(you must unchech the box in power management witch let windows to disable it for saving the power)

Forums on both Intel and Microsoft are reporting that there is an unverified (not in Windows update) general display adapter driver available on Intel's website for Integrated HD Graphics 515, 520, 530 & Iris 540 that SOLVES THE MAPS PROBLEM.


When I download that ZIP you linked to and go to manually install it through device manager the message is: "The best driver software is already installed, Windows has determined your device is up to date."

The pre-existing driver from device manager after the latest updates is:
Version: 20.19.15.4326
Date 11/20/15

The downloaded version linked above (from Intel listing) is:
DRIVER VERSION: 15.40.14.64.4352 & 15.40.14.32.4352
DATE: December 22, 2015

Follow these instructions:

Click "Start", right-click "Computer", and click "Properties".

2. Click "Device Manager" on the left.

3. In the "User Account Control" window, click "Yes".

IF UPDATING DRIVER GO TO STEP 5

4. Double-click "Video Controller (VGA Compatible)" if present under
"Other Devices". (Go to step 6) - (Only if you uninstalled the driver previously and it didn't reinstall).

5. Expand "Display adapters" and double-click the graphics controller.

6. In the "Driver" tab, click "Update Driver".

7. Click "Browse my computer for driver software".

8. Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".

9. Click "Have Disk..." and click "Browse".

10. Browse to the directory where you unzipped the file you
downloaded, click the "Graphics" folder, and select the
.INF file. Click "Open".

11. Click "OK" and click "Next". The operating system will install
the driver.

12. Click "Close" and click "Yes" to reboot. The driver should now
be loaded.
