Getting People into Outlook 2013?

Successfully did the upgrade to v8.1 today, in about 3hrs. Got my iCloud email into Outlook, but wondering if there is a way to link Outlook to People to populate the address book...

If you want to add the icloud to the people app you will need to add that account to the stock mail app. Than adjust the settings for people. Did the icloud sync the contacts in the contacts section in outlook.

Also did you try swiping from the rt in the people app and select accts and add icloud. It might work that way also.
