Indexing file share in a nas

I saw this issue early on. I have a large media collection on my HTPC and it won't index it. The only way to play a video or music is to manually open it on the NAS. I believe this is intentional since the surface is a portable device. Because this isn't the case on my other desktop computers on my network. If not, it would have to constantly reindex if the surface was in range or not via WiFi, which we all know would be slow and annoying.

It's annoying. There should be a better way then to manual select the files.

I give up for now. Could not get it to work. I will copy the files i need localy.
