I would like to when I have the SP3 in the docking station using at a separate monitor be able to close the key board to take up less space and not have SP3 turn off or go into sleep mode. I assume there is a setting, but I haven't been able to figure it out.
I just rip the keyboard off. then you can still use your hi-res SP screen along with your external monitor(s). I do this and have three screens to play with. plus, you can store your pen on the left side of the dock, which is magnetic.
