keyboard not being recognized

As the title says my keyboard will sometimes work, then the backlight on the keyboard will start flashing and stop working, I bought a new keyboard and had the same problem.
I don't really use it much so I don't think the contacts could be worn out.
I cleaned the contacts but still the same issue.

If your keyboard is not being recognized, it could be caused by a few different things. The first thing to try is to check the connection between your keyboard and the computer.
