Microsoft appears to have now admitted the wireless woes

Here is the first (that I have found) article where Microsoft is acknowledging the wireless woes and speaks of the efforts to address the issue.

The only WiFi problem I'm having is when it returns from sleep mode on battery. It says its connected to the WiFi, but it's not. I just turn the WiFi off and back on and I'm back to surfing again. No biggie.

Yes, there are actually numerous kinds of issues depending on the actual version of the driver you have loaded. Waking from sleep is one core dependency on all of these issues. Sometimes an off-on of the wifi will resolve this, sometimes a reboot, somtimes a uninstall and reinstall of the device is actually needed. Sigh. But, help appears to be on the way, and there are some interum workarounds that improve the situation.
