Mix and Match Surface Pens

A problem with the Surface Pen is that it may not be distinctive enough to keep it from getting lost amongst ball point pens or pencils elsewhere in your home or office.

Some people own a second pen, for use as a replacement in case the other pen is lost.

I happen to own two pens, because I own two Surface Books.

So I mix the front and back ends of the pens. It adds some style and some distinction, making them less apt to get lost amongst mere conventional writing tools.

That's certainly better than the yellow post it notes I've wrapped around and sticky taped to mine!

When available, I am going to order the new Surface Pen (maybe it will work better navigating/scrolling in browsers - but probably not).

I hope the caps of the new Surface Pen and the Pen that came with the Surface Book are interchangeable (I prefer having the pen clip).

I just purchased the new Surface Pen (version 2017).
The cap of the Surface Pen which came with my Surface Book and the cap of the new Surface Pen (version 2017) are not interchangeable.
