I am also debating which external display to get for me surface 3. I am trying to decide between 24" and 27" and 1440 or 4k.
4k seems to work in MST mode on a dell 24" display or with the custom setting on a 4k monitor with 50 hz.
What disadvantages would that MST mode have ? And what would be better a Dell 27" with 50hz cranked up in the custom setting or MST 24" Dell. Also in relation to the appropriate scaling settings with the surface?
Alternatively a 24" or 27" 1440p Dell ?
