Power Adapter Weirdness

I notice when I connect the SP2 to the power adapter my screen will flash dim and bright over and over for approx.. 10-12 seconds until it finally starts charging properly. Basically it's going into charging to non charging for each bright/dim cycle. My Surface RT never did this. Wondering if other SP2 owners are having this or if my charger is defective.

Is your problem similar to the screen flickering people were having here? It turned out to be Intel Dynamic Power Saving feature. You can disable it from the Intel Graphics Control Panel after updating your driver.

Hi

I found this happened when the connector wasn't seated properly.

Once all the contacts were connected the device power management stopped swapping between plans.
