Randomly entering keys non-stop

For some reason every now and then i'll open up my surface and it starts typing random keys endlessly and the only way for me to reset it seems to be through shutting it down. Even disconnecting my mouse and type cover doesn't seem to help. I'm going to disable some third party software from start-up for a while and see if that helps but has anybody ever experienced this?

I saw a Bluetooth keyboard randomly repeat keys before and wouldn't stop until you hit that key again.

oh my goodness... how stupid could I be... it just might be my bluetooth number pad in my backpack -.-

Yeah the keyboard buffer was indeed experiencing issues, it was experiencing some low voltage issues battery was dead and charging but needed more time.
