Remotely turn on wifi hotspot

Hello all, I'm new here. Just received my new SP4, and while playing around I found the setting to turn on the mobile hotspot. It works just fine. There is also a setting to allow a bluetooth paired device to turn on the hotspot remotely. I paired my iPhone 6 and it shows as connected in the phone bluetooth settings, but how do I use the iPhone to turn on the hotspot function on the SP4 ??
