Rusty Surface RT body

I bought this Surface RT in the UK last May 2014, and now I have been back in Indonesia since June 2014. Recently I just realised my Surface RT has collected some kind of rust grains on the edges. Photos below:

The grains are solid and hard to remove.
Anybody experience the same please, and how can I rectify this? It's only 2 months now and my tablet already starts to look aged :/ . Never happened with my old iPad 2.

Ok read from somewhere else, they said it created tiny solid bubbles along the side edges of the magnesium body. Is this a big problem? Because it is not a pretty sight for me, and shameful because it should have been a beautiful tablet.
