SB Charger brick get's really hot...like super hot

I've noticed that recently when I charge my SB (i7 w/ dGPU) the brick get's really hot, almost burning to the touch hot. Also the right corner where the charger connects also get's relatively hot. Is this normal or has my charger become defective?

I find this can happen if I am charging a phone, say, with the adapter's USB port - did you only have the SB attached?

For comparison: After running a few matches on Heroes Of The Storm [69c GPU, 94c CPU] my charger is barely warmer than ambient. I'd say you have a problem with the charger

just the SB, nothing attached in the USB.

yes it sounds like a defective power adapter... I can't see your SB drawing more power than the charger can handle
