glad you figured it out, the community figured it out a while back , still not an optimal solution as its not really a strong bond

I was shown this at the MS store and was pleased as I like the ability to do so on my SP2. But I agree it's not strong enough.

I see it more as a place to rest it will I am using the Surface than a permanent storage solution. When I am not using the pen I can always put it in my bag so i don't lose it.
