surface app stopped running

Hello all ... brand new SP4 and plunging in using it. The Surface app stopped running. I uninstalled - re-installed, did 2 button restart ... checked updates ... none of these work.
Strange that a native MS app stopped working ... I also check my McAfee settings ...
Suggestions??
Fixes??

Welcome to the forum, @caloak

The "Surface" app was created to help users configure the Pen. It is still around, but fails if you are using a Build of Windows 10 which has Pen settings available from the Control Panel. It only remains for users on older Builds, needing updates.

So no fix is necessary. Your Surface Pro 4 does not need it.
Congrats, by the way, on owning a Surface Pro 4.
