Surface Book WiDi?

Does it now or will it ever support Intel WiDi or Pro WiDi?

This page says WiDi only goes to Windows 8.1 and WiDi Pro only goes up to 5th generation Intel processors plus certain Core M processors.

The answer is no....

WiDi is Intel's implementation of wireless HDMI and as of version 4 it is compatible with the Miracast Standard. But WiDi and WiDi Pro requires an Intel CPU, GMA and Wireless Card (and for Pro most support vPro). The Surface lines uses Marvell and is committed to the solution, so the Surface devices support Miracast (even though it is using WiDi drivers for Video).
