Solved Surface Dock Ethernet Drivers

I just loaded those drivers onto usb and tried a restore hooked to dock and it could not find the server. I tried it twice and then tried with my j5 usb to Ethernet and that worked. I am not sure how you got it to work

Automatic server detection did not work so I typed my server name manually and it did find it.

It does guys! I restored my replacement Surface Book from WS2012ER2 backup yesterday. Just got to use Surface Pro 3 Ethernet drivers. Neither of you mentioned using those.

I tried that as well and it didn't work

Well, who knows why it works for me and not you. Could be a lot of things. I think we can leave it at recommending to first try what worked for me since that does not cost anything and only if it doesn't work buying USB to Ethernet adapter.
