Oh? Really? Where? I've been tracking them on eBay for three months to see what mine would go for. An SP3, i7, 512GB in good shape right now is going for $900-1150.00 and has been since late October.

Ask vs. purchase on the open market, looking at comps locally. At least here people will pay just a bit more than what Gazelle, Amazon or MS Store will give....

I know. It's also listed on eBay. I'll try Amazon as well. And yes I should have listed the specs a bit more clearly. It is an 8gb, I7, 512gb. Thanks for noting that.
