Hi I'm new to this forum and have a question about docking stations
Out of curiosity...with the SP3 if you have it connected to the docking station does that damage the internal battery? I know with laptops I was told if I left it plugged in at my desk all the time it would eventually kill the battery....anyone know?

Yes I saw that. I was just fearful that I would be ruining the battery like I did in my laptop. Thank you for the quick response.

Welcome to the forum!

Pretty much what GreyFox stated above... use the thing however you see fit. Just discharge the battery once a month to below 10%, and you'll be fine.
