Does this happen automatically with windows 8?

I bought an album on my Surface how do I access and download that on my windows 8 PC?

for me, it automatically downloaded it when I opened the music application. Then it should appear in my music folder under xbox music or something similar to that

Nothing was automatically added. I had to manually download it from the music app.
