Very small crack in screen ruins touch - can i disable portion of touchscreen?

I was gutted to discover a small crack in my surface screen - it is creating a "ghost" touch in the upper left corner. I would like to disable this small portion of the touchscreen so I can still use the touch function. Is this possible?

You can disable touch function in whole, but not partially.
