Volume Issue Surface Pro

Using my Surface Pro in my office or around my home I have sufficient volume. I tried to use my Surface Pro with Streets & Trips as my GPS in my car and I do not have enough volume to hear the turn by turn instructions. I have checked all the possible volume settings and they are at full volume. Has anyone else had this problem and were you successful in solving it?

Go into control panel. Then sound settings. Then click on speaker icon. Then properties. Go advanced and check the box/enable loudness. This will increase volume significantly across the board.
