Windows 8 in Surface pro not activated....

I got a problem, the Windows 8 Pro OS that came with my unit says its not activated. What could be the possible solution? Tried the refresh and reset method but still did not solve the issue.

I understand that this is just a product key issue and having a valid key is the only lasting solution.

Um, well. try Control Panel / System then scroll to the bottom under Windows Activation and activate it if it says it isn't I guess.

Hi, i the same issue on my Surface Pro. Go ahead and check your Region, Time and Date settings. On my Surface the Time / Date was wrong, so activation did not work. After setting the correct Time / Date activation worked.
