XBOX controller with FIFA14?

For some reason when I play the fifa app its only letting me use touch controls, every other xbox app i have automatically connects with my controller when its connected? can fifa14 not use a controller?

Maybe you have to SET IT in the games control panel, like you have to do in halo..

Had to do that with Asphalt too, so I presume a similar process exists in FIFA.

Fifa 14 works well with my 360 pad, didn't have to turn anything on in settings for it to work. Just as it loads use the pad to click start and advance with the "A" button
