type cover problems

My type cover allows me to enter my password but will not work once I have any apps open.

Have you recently installed a Bluetooth mouse or keyboard? I am having similar trouble, but it will not allow me to use the Type-cover for the password. I unpaired the BT mouse (msoft brand!) , then uninstalled the "msoft keyboard and mouse driver" and it all came back.

Just another feature from the somewhat inept programmers at msoft. It seems the recent layoffs didn't get them all.
