Yes, I agree. My SP1 was horrible with sound. Youtube videos I would 'have' to have at 100%, and even then I'd have to make sure the room was quiet. Surface pro 3, not sure if its the location or beefier speakers, but I have no problems whatsoever with sound now. Often leave it lower than 100%
