Apps won't open

For the past several weeks I have had several apps that used to work fine fail to open when requested. The most recent one is Sudoku Free. It was working fine this morning. Now whenever I try to open it the app starts to load and then closes. This has happened in the past with other apps. Any idea what is going on?

I've had that before - never known why but only solution I've found is to remove and re-download the apps.

I've been able to do that a couple of times, but with some after I delete the app and try to download it again the Microsoft store tells me it is already installed.

Did you do a "standard" uninstall and a restart? Deleting can mean more than one thing.
