Best Buy protection plans for the Pro 3

Is anyone considering the Best Buy Geek Squad Protection for their new Surface Pro 3? Please share your thoughts.

It protects you from:

Accidental damage from handling.
One time battery replacement.
Normal wear & tear.
Power surge protection.
Pixel repair & burn-in coverage.

The cost is $209.99 for a year and $279.99 for the 2 year plan.

I don't purchase the protection plans and doubt I would pay over $200 for one on a tablet. With that said I would also check Square Trade

I chatted with MS today and she didn't have the price. She promised to email me when they determined it.

I usually pass on the extended warranties as I rarely have any problems during the warranty periods, regular or extended. I tend to upgrade quicker than others as well. Maybe if I had young children in the house that would be a reason to be concerned about cracked screens or other damage.
