Refurbished.

Technically can't re-manufacture something that's essentially unfixable (though I suppose different terms can be used synonymously, but "refurb" makes more sense to me). Refurbished means it was checked over and "re-certified" for resale. Lots of "re"s there.

It better last for thousands of times becaue the user can't change the battery. I bet it would cost a few hundred dollars to get Microsoft to change it.
