?Connection? in kickstand loose

Hi guys,

I am wondering what these two metal(?) foil connections, from kickstand to the surface inside, in the centre of the kickstand are. Are they electrical connections for an antenna? However one of those is loose, as I recognized correctly. Does anyone knows what and for what they are? Would help me much in troubleshooting.

I'm not sure what you're seeing. Photo please. My kickstand only has one connector and it's on the right and side that connects the Surface to the kickstand internal logic.

The Foil Tape was used to keep the kickstand flush, and it is purely decorative. It can be repaired/replaced if under warranty.

That depends on how they do the exchange, if you do an Advanced Exchange - they send you the new (to you) device and a shipping box for yours. This does require a Credit Card though.
