Disable SD card?

I looked in the UEFI settings and didn't see a slider for turning the card slot off.
Is there a setting somewhere to disable the hardware so the card slot will not work?

Well if you delete the driver. You can get the driver back by searching for new hardware in device manager.

I see no benefits to doing that... why would you want to cripple your device like that?

I imagine it would be for DoD or corporate environments where external drives are disabled to limit data walk.

Not as secure as having it fully disabled in the UEFI settings.
I find it quite odd that there isn't a slider to disable the SD card along with the other hardware settings like cameras and Bluetooth you can disable with in the UEFI settings
Truly a bizarre omission.
