External monitor resolution issue.

Just tried disconnecting the mdp+usb again. This time the sp3 started in landscape. I don't have time to figure how use both the sp3 screen and an external monitor for one work flow. I either work as a desktop+external monitor or as a tablet.

If we plug in a monitor that has the same or bigger resolution than SP3's, things will be better or even worst ?
