Favorites on Metro IE

Is there any way to change the favorites/ frequent layout in Metro IE, I would much rather have my favorites pop up first

Yeah, that part is a terrible layout.

In Merto IE you have to click the address bar at the bottom of the page for your favorites to load. The other option is adding Tabs by swiping down from the top and hitting the + key. Not a large degree of funtionality but it works.
