Final Draft in SP3

I just purchased my Surface Pro 3 for the main purpose of screenwriting/writing on the go. I installed Final Draft, and every time I hit the "Backspace" it undoes everything I've just typed/fixed. What gives? If this continues, I can't use this computer. It ONLY happens in Final Draft.

I'm anxiously awaiting the FD app, but until then, I need to work.

Has anyone else dealt with this? How can I fix it?

Sorry, I can't help you, but I am interested in the solution because I was thinking of getting a copy of FDX. One question - totally unrelated to your query - but do you get only one install per device? So, if I want a copy on my desktop AND on my SP3, would I need 2 copies or only 1?

I had FD installed on my old laptop, and then registered and installed it on my SP3 without problem. I ordered the disk though, so I used that to install on the SP3. 1 disk, 2 installs.

Did you post something to Final Draft's support forum?

I googled this and I see a variety of issues with FD ... some with rather strange (to me) solutions.

I seriously doubt there is something peculiar to the SP3 causing this unless Satya Nadella is short Final Draft stock.
