Groove Music killi' the battery

Hey Guys,

So I have a SP4 i7 model, and since Windows 10 I'm really liking the own MS apps, like Edge.

One app that I'm trying to use is Groove, that have improved a lot since xbox music.

But something is annoying me a lot, since the normal windows build (I went to slow and now I'm on fast ring), Groove music is killing the battery, making the surface run hot and the fans just go crazy.

My files are local (in the onedrive music folder, but all of them are locally available, my library is big, but I gave the app time enough to scan all the files, and most of them are just normal mp3.

Someone having the same problem? any solutions? Anyone knows good player / library manager?

What "antimalware" are you using? It looks like it's constantly checking your music while you're using Groove.

What format is the music? You may want to consider setting those files up as an exclusion.
