My name is Kevin and I don't know a Surface (yet?). In the meantime though, this forum seems like a good place to learn more about it, get opinions/feedback, etc. I look forward to participating more once (or if) I get a Surface.
Welcome Kevin. This is a great place to learn about the Surface. It does have some first generation product issues but I think you will see that most users are very happy with their Surface and have been great about helping find way around some of the early issues.
