Help can't detect wireless usb mouse on window 8.1

My surface pro can't detect wireless usb mouse. When I plug in the usb nothing happen. The mouse works fine on my desktop and wired mouse works fine on surface pro. So i'm guessing there must be some kind of software issue. Please help

Does device manager show an unknown or other device with yellow symbol?
Can you download the drivers for it from the manufacturers site?

Device manager didn't show nothing. It's like nothing is plugged in.
There's no driver can be found as it's an el cheapo knockoff of unbrand arc touch mouse
Can the driver be universal though?
