Dear Anyone.
Be gentle with me for not knowing the techie term for the thing, I mean the docking station thing with the little golden bit on one side that's supposed to charge the Surface Pro up (so why not have a normal phone-type USB mini socket!?!)
Anyway - it's gotten so I flat can't make it work and I can't find a computer shop near me willing to take it on to fix it (Brighton, if anyone knows anywhere...!?!) It started off working fine, I just made sure the golden thing was in the socket, plugged it in, left it, it charged. Then it got so I had to wiggle the Pro to make it connect. Then it got so I had to plug the Pro into it and stand it at a weird angle to make the Pro connect.
Now the Pro won't connect to its own docking station charger at all and I can't find any other way to charge it up! Anyone got any ideas on the subject they will be tried. I don't THINK the Pro's socket's damaged because I've never taken it out of the flat and I've always been extremely careful with it - there's a graphics package on it that's like a better version of GIMP I used all the time - when the Pro could actually be charged!
Yours hopefully,
Chris.
