Just bought a SP 3 days ago. Now that probably there will be a SP2 i feel a bit weid, but anyway, i don't need more battery nor speed, and best reason, i wanted it now.

This sort of thing happens all the time, but don't feel too bad:

I once imported a $2500 subnotebook from Japan. Because it was an import and slightly customized, no returns are possible except under warranty. Less than two weeks later, they did a price cut while announcing a new model. I was bummed... but I did keep and use that subnotebook for over 5 years, so the money was well spent in the end.

Hopefully you got a decent discount on yours, at least. And it's not a bad machine either way.
