Okay, brand new SP3 with an apparently completely updated 8.1. After being disappointed with the battery performance, I looked into limiting CPU usage whilst on battery, which many people have great success with for increasing battery life.
With Hyper-V ENABLED, I have 'Balanced' and 'Power Saver' profiles available, with all power options available except the one that I want most, the processor throttling options.
After searching around the interwebs, I found most people were solving this by disabling Hyper-V. When I disable Hyper-V, however, I only have 'Balanced' power profile remaining, and clicking on the advanced settings results in this:
Almost no options remain whatsoever!
What the hell is going on?
