Microsoft just launched a new month long promotional designed to make the Surface RT more enticing. You can now get the tablet with a FREE touch cover or type cover included in the regular retail price of $499 for the 32GB version, or $599 for the 64GB version. This is effectively a $130 dollar value. Right now this offer is only good in the U.S., Canada and Europe. We will keep you apprised if that changes.

What do you guys think of this slightly more aggressive price model?
