Surface Book
I just got 3 updates for various components this evening:

  • Microsoft driver update for Surface UEFI
  • NVIDIA driver update for NVIDIA GeForce GPU
  • Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) Precise Touch Device
The nVidia driver version is now 21.21.13.6961 dated 10/20/2016

I just got those updates too (at least the 1st and 3rd, because I'm running the non-GPU SB).

I really hope that these updates will finally stop my SB from randomly crashing every two or three days. Every time I get a firmware or device driver udpate I am optimistic that finally I will open up my SB in the morning and it will not be a black screen. However, as time goes by I get less and less hopeful that the problem will ever be fixed. Here's hoping this time ...

Well, that hope didn't last long. A few hours after installing the most recent updates, my Surface Book froze two seconds after opening Outlook 2013. I know ... I know ... it's an awful lot to expect Microsoft's flagship laptop to run Windows 10 and Outlook 2013 without crashing. POS.

I wonder if this will fix slow WiFi on 802.11AC band. Seems that before update the Surface Book would default to 2.4 N
