On screen keyboard

Hi,
Just got a sp4 and am having difficulty as there is so much to learn.
One of the problems I can't find an answer to is on some apps (Facebook & Messenger) as soon as I need to type then the on screen key board covers the text box!!
Also the web page is larger than the screen and on other tablets you can reduce the screen size by using your fingers.

Can someone point me in the direction of which settings I need to alter.

Open Settings, click on Ease of Access, Click on Keyboard, Turn on or off On screen keyboard.

Hi Aldec

I need the on screen key board as I've not got the hardware keyboard. As a tablet I want to use the inbuilt keyboard but it covers the input boxes which I'm typing into, If you know what I mean

Sorry I assumed you had a separate keyboard.

You can just click one of the boxes top right of the keyboard (forget which one) which allows you to move the keyboard to anywhere on the screen. Sure it isn't as convenient as android etc, but every platform has its pro's and con's
