I use Blue Stacks as well. I found the experience far more satisfying when I replaced the Blue Stacks launcher with Google Now. I would like to hear how people configured the Ami-Duos to work with their Surface. When I ran it, it said the processor wasn't compatible, I then downloaded an app which allowed me to manual turn on the virtualization mode on the Atom, but didn't love the experience. Which version of Ami-Duos are people using? (Ver. 1 or 2)
I'm using Version 2. The warning about needing to have virtualization mode for it to run ends up being a non-issue. I can't find the link right now, but basically, you just install it, ignore the warning, run it on the Surface 3 for a few minutes, and then just reboot your Surface 3. After that, it just runs, and somehow it gets what it needs.
It runs fine for me (I'm keeping mine at Windows 8.1 until more of the Windows 10 bugs have been squashed), although it does take somewhat long for it to boot up within Windows. But it has run every Android App I've asked it to (including being able to download
Amazon and Google videos, which otherwise - until recently, at least - wouldn't download on a Windows device.
